Verse of the Week 1/3/17

Hello, ladies!!!

Today I will be posting a verse of the week and just give my thoughts on it.  Hopefully I will be able to do this every week.  🙂

Today’s verse is:

“Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.” ~ Proverbs 31:30.  

I really like this verse. It focuses on the fact that it doesn’t matter about our outward appearance.  As long as we have a heart for the Lord, our outer looks don’t matter.  Sure, all girls want to look nice, right?  But that shouldn’t be our main focus.  Before anything else, we need to make sure we are right with God.  Fix your heart first, then worry about what you look like.
