Hullo, Ladies! Today I have a list of books for God’s Daughters.
Nowadays, I find it so hard to find books that contain no inappropriate content, books that don’t misuse God’s name, and so on.
When I see the new books nowadays, I don’t usually get past the summary or first couple of pages. If you will pardon me saying, there is so much trash floating around the world. And sometimes I find it hard to stay on God’s path, because I am tempted to read books that I know I should not. (I’ve read every good book I can get my hands on.)
This world is so full of things that distract us from walking God’s path.
But, we can start by reading good books. So, here, without further ado, 6 Books for God’s Daughters.
The Redwall Series
By Brian Jacques
Mr. Jacques passed away in 2011, so, unfortunately, there are only 21 or 22 books, instead of one more. There is a bit of violence, but it takes place in war times. There are also many character deaths.
The Mistmantle Chronicles
By M.I McAllister
There are five Mistmantle books. There is also a bit of violence, and two or three character deaths. DON’T GET ATTACHED TO A CERTAIN SOMEONE.
God’s Smuggler
By Brother Andrew
I was reluctant to read this book at first, don’t ask why, but when I started, I could not put it down!
The Chronicles of Narnia
By C.S Lewis
I am actually reading the series right now, and it’s awesome!
The Melendy Quarter
By Elizabeth Enright
It may also be referred to as the Four Story Mistake series. The books are called: (In order)
The Saturdays, The Four-Story Mistake, Then There Were Five, and Spider Web For Two.
The Mary Poppins series
By P. L Travers
An extraordinary Nanny, four young children, named Banks, what else could you want?!
Did you like this post? Would you like a list of MORE books for God’s Daughters?
In Christ,
More booklists, please!!!
Oh, and I LOVED Brother Andrew, and also read the first two in the Melendy Quartet and LOVED those too!!!!!

I have read the Melinda Quarter and Mary Poppins. Oh, and I totally agree with you about books being trash these days. I have read almost every good book in our library. 😦

We just got to the part where Uncle Andrew is planted. Like a tree. And watered.

Yes, I have read (and reread) almost all the good ones in our library. I have really enjoyed The Quest for Truth series, The Kingdom Series, and the Knights of Arrethtrae Series. If you’re looking for good, Godly, adventure based series these are it!
Do you mind if I share your Christian Book ideas on the Book Nook page of my blog? Thanks!
