Hi, girls!! Here is this week’s verse:
“Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” ~ Proverbs 3:5-6
This verse is a great one to memorize! It is so important to trust in God no matter what. In life we can get so bust trying to accomplish our goals, that we loose sight of who is in control. As Christians, we are to submit to the Lord’s direction, knowing that he knows what is best for us.
I hope you all are enjoying this beautiful Thursday! So, I’d like to apologize for not posting every week. The past couple of weeks have been really busy. But be sure to see a verse of the week more weekly from now on. 😊
Anyway, onto this week’s verse!
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” ~ Joshua 1:9
Isn’t this an awesome promise? God promises to always be with us. Through the good and bad he will always be there. So no matter what situation you’re going through, take courage and do not be afraid! Because when God is on our side, there is absolutely nothing to fear.
Have an amazing day, girls!
Hey, girls! Here is this week’s verse:
“Watch over your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of life.” ~ Proverbs 4:23
We need to guard our hearts. What you allow to influence your heart will influence your life. We need to make sure we keep a guard and be cautious of how we live our daily lives. Everything we do needs to be done for God’s glory.
Hey, girls! Here is this week’s verse! Sorry it’s a little late. 🙂
“These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.” ~ John 16:33
I love this verse so much. It is so reassuring to know that God is in control. He holds the world in His hands. He encourages us not to be afraid. To be brave when we are facing trials. Jesus encourages us to always have confidence in His ability to bring us to triumph. There may be times when we feel like everything has gone downhill and we won’t be able to make it up again, but always remember Jesus is there for you. He won’t let you down. Sometimes we may think to ourselves that we are doing everything right, but God still lets us be tried. Ultimately, to be closer to him. I guess you could say, He’s testing us. Testing our faith. It’s not that He’s bringing the bad, necessarily, it’s just that He is allowing tough situations to happen to make us stronger.
James chapter 1 is a great source. I definitely encourage you to read it. It talks about God testing our faith. It goes along with what I’ve said today.
I hope you enjoyed this!
Today I will be posting a verse of the week and just give my thoughts on it. Hopefully I will be able to do this every week. 🙂
Today’s verse is:
“Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.” ~ Proverbs 31:30.
I really like this verse. It focuses on the fact that it doesn’t matter about our outward appearance. As long as we have a heart for the Lord, our outer looks don’t matter. Sure, all girls want to look nice, right? But that shouldn’t be our main focus. Before anything else, we need to make sure we are right with God. Fix your heart first, then worry about what you look like.
I hope you all liked this verse. Have an awesome week, girls!
